Questions we hear a lot
Tap a question to see the answer. If yours isn't here, call (541) 872-3154.
Do I need a reservation, or can I just walk in?
Either works. Walk-ins are welcome every day, but weekend evenings and summer nights do fill up, so if you have your heart set on seven o'clock on a Saturday, reserve on Yelp.
We'll hold your table for 15 minutes past your time. If you're running late, call and we'll do what we can. If your plans change, please let us know at least 24 hours ahead so someone else can have the table.
Is there a waitlist?
Yes, there's a same-day waitlist. You can join it from your phone before you start down the Riverwalk, or give us your name at the door. Either way, the lounge by the fireplace and the bar are good places to wait, and the bar can make you something while you do.
We're a big group. What do we do?
You can book online for up to 16. If there are more of you, call us so we can set up our large-party seating, which takes groups up to thirty, instead of pushing small tables together. A gratuity is added for parties of 6 or more.
If you're planning a private party or need catering, see private events.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, on the deck. It's covered, so the dog stays as dry as you do. Service animals are welcome anywhere in the restaurant. More about the deck on the visit page.
Is it kid-friendly?
Yes. We don't print a kids menu, so ask your server and they'll tell you what we can make for them. From the pilot-boat seats you can watch the bar pilots' boats head out past the pier.
Do you have gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan options?
Our menus mark dishes that are vegetarian (V), vegan (VG) or gluten-free (GF) where that's the case, and the Greek side of the menu leans naturally toward vegetables, olive oil and lemon, as in the mezze platter, the Greek salad and the spanakopita.
For allergies, tell your server before you order. We'd much rather know than guess.
Where do I park?
The building has its own parking lot. We share it with the other businesses in the building, so on busy days a spot can be hard to come by. Give yourself a few extra minutes, or walk over on the Riverwalk if you're staying in town. More on getting here, on foot or by car, on the visit page.
Is the deck open in winter?
Yes, on most days. The deck is covered, so rain doesn't close it, and the ships go by in January the same as in July. On the stormiest days we may shut it for everyone's sake, so if the forecast looks wild, call ahead and we'll tell you what's open. Bring a coat either way.
Do you do takeout or delivery?
We do both. You can order takeout and pick it up at the pier, or have it delivered through DoorDash. The kitchen's last call is 8:45 PM on Friday and Saturday, 7:45 PM the rest of the week.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Digital gift cards are bought online and arrive by email or text, so a last-minute birthday still counts as on time. If you'd rather hand someone a card, you can buy one at the counter any time we're open.
Can you host a party or cater an event?
Yes. Our large-party seating takes up to thirty, and we cater everything from corporate lunches to weddings. A 25% deposit holds your date, and the balance is due three days before the event. Start on the private events page, and we'll size it to your group.
How do I find the pier?
Follow the Astoria Riverwalk to 12th Street and look for Pier 12 reaching out over the river. Walk out to the end and you're here. If you're driving, put 1 12th Street, Astoria into your map app. Directions and maps are here.
